Worker’s Compensation
If the deceased died as a worker the board will pay:
- Up to $1,300.00 to a dependant widow or widower as a contribution to defray extra costs.
- Up to $8,150.00 for the burial, cremation or memorial service.
Survivors Benefits:
- Maximum range from $1,077.00 to $2,716.00 per month or 90% of the monthly net earnings.
- Children maximum benefit of $200.00 per month. Workers compensation will also provide free counselling.
